30 Day Linking Blitz

I've been getting more enquiries lately as to when the next 30 Day Linking Blitz (explained below) is to be.

So I am happy to announce that the 4th 30 Day Linking Blitz starts Monday, February 24

______

The 30 Day Linking Blitz is a free, online, collaborative, self-directed, all volunteer project, in which each participant commits to take action on his/her LinkedIn presence and activity, over a 30 day period.

__________

For information about the Blitz and how to participate, go to this link.

To see what others have saidgo here.

We have a LinkedIn Group, which everyone who wants to participate needs to join. But first, it is necessary to register at the 30 Day Linking Blitz website by completing and submitting the simple form there.

People who are veterans of previous Blitzes and want to participate in this one will also need to register at the website for the new list.

Whether or not you choose to participate, it would be great if you could share the news with others - and the link: http://30daylinkingblitz.com (Twitter hashtag is #30DLB)

Remember that people who want to participate should register by Feb 24. As previously, we will close registrations in the first few days of the Blitz.

If you want to send anyone to me for more info, just give them my mail address, des@deswalsh.com

A Special Event with a Special Offer

I'm very excited about a new event in which I am playing a key role.

And for which I have a special offer for my network of friends, colleagues and other connections.

This is the exciting new project I mentioned a while back in one of my updates but wasn't able to talk freely about at the time.

What's it About - and Where?

It's about social media. And more. Especially about the good life in the best sense, and dare I use the cliche? - work-life balance.

And it's in one of the most magical places on the planet, the Island of Bali.

Eat, Pray, Tweet - Bali 2014

Along with my very savvy, totally livewire colleagues, Laurel Papworth (@silkcharm) and Nancy Georges (@NancyGeorges) I'll be helping deliver the Eat, Pray, Tweet experience, in May this year.

It will definitely be exclusive - no more than 15 participants - and in an upmarket resort in the Ubud region, the cultural and spiritual heart of Bali.

We have done some serious negotiating to get an excellent venue for the best price.

Most people I have spoken to about this event want to know more. In fact, people seem quite excited just by the idea - so I know it's not just me! :)

Anyway, for a short time I have a special registration code for my friends and colleagues who want to join us in Bali and want to get in early to reserve their spot (remember there are only 15 places).

Here is the link to the registration site, with more info (scroll down the page if the program info is not immediately obvious)

https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/eatpraytweet-bali-2014-tickets-9760789785

Can't see the ticket prices? That's because just now, while this special, "inner circle" offer lasts, in order to see the ticket prices you have to enter my code as below. For everyone else we are hiding the ticket prices for several days till our friends and colleagues have had first dibs.

That's why, when you first open the page on Eventbrite, it will say "No tickets available", but when you enter my code (click on "Enter promotional code") you will see the page with ticket prices.

Promotional code: Des2014

Till next time, wishing you good business, good health and good vibes

Des
