Channel management companies TubeBuddy and Hey.com teamed up for a report that studied the effectiveness of YouTube videos based on how often they said the word “you” in the first 30 seconds of runtime.
The result? Videos that said “you” in their first five seconds scored 66% more views than videos that did not.
Variations such as your, yourselves - also work, y'all. That too. :)

Pinterest ... introduced Lens, a new visual search tool that uses machine vision to detect objects in the real world and suggest related items on the service. Lens, which is now in beta, is a tool inside the
Pinterest mobile app that functions as a kind of Shazam for objects.
Apparently you point it at food, furniture, or nature and Pinterest displays images it identifies as related.
It's been rolled out for iOS and Android but so far only for the US
apparently. So I don't have it yet.

Facebook apparently has a whole team of some 30 or so who specialize in customizing messages that Facebook sends.
They ask a set of questions and try and answer them, including:
- WHO is the audience?
- WHY are you delivering the message?
- WHAT is the point you want to relay?
Might seem basic but I figured I could improve my content creation and delivery by using these and the rest of the questions they
use.
