The AR (Augmented Reality) Revolution will come not with a bang but a tape measure. At least, that seems to be the lesson so far from ARKit, Apple’s new augmented-reality platform.
ARKit lets developers build AR apps, which integrate digital experiences into the physical world via iPhone or iPad, a la Pokémon Go.
Hold on, is this a social business newsletter, or one on augmented
reality?
Um, yes. There's some merging going on.
Think about the fact, for instance, that Mark Zuckerberg has made very public how important Augmented Reality (AR) is in the Facebook roadmap.
And on the bigger picture, who knows where AR will take us, not just in terms of fun and games, but in the way business operates? Exciting, no?

Recently, LinkedIn began rolling out its new video feature via its mobile app, allowing users to finally be able to record and upload up to 10 minutes of native video. Like other platforms, videos on LinkedIn can be shot both vertically and horizontally.
Better late than never, this development from LinkedIn. Its being rolled out progressively and I regret I don't have it on my phone yet, but I am eager to get it.
As the article points out, this is so right for B2B communication. Apparently it comes with some very helpful, analytics (which he calls "data driven
analytics" - is there any other kind? I don't know).
Yes, you know you can use up to 30 hashtags on any Instagram post, but who has the time and creativity to dream those up just for one photo? Not me.
And you may be looking for
some extra tags for posting on some other platform.
