Hi
It was very encouraging to see such a good opening rate for the first Social Business Bites in too long a time. Of course I'm keen to get the numbers up, but I do value each of you who have taken a moment out of your busy life to respond.
In this issue I'm including a call for anyone interested in joining me in a 5 day LinkedIn "Reboot"- see below. This will be "back to basics", maybe too basic for some, but I always find there is one or more of the basics where I can lift my game. It's free, and so far - from one post yesterday on Facebook - there are at least 18 starters. There is no limit on how many can join.
See the details in the item below - big blue image!

One of LinkedIn's lesser-known dirty secrets is that they choose which of your posts will be visible to most of your network and which posts will only be read by a select few.
Based on data collected by the author's company, he shares 5 reasons why LinkedIn "just might be hating on your updates".
Read this to see how more than 20 posts a month on LinkedIn might be too many.

Do you want to improve your Instagram post engagement? Wondering how to write strong Instagram captions that move people to action?
If you want your Instagram posts to attract more engagement, the advice in this post should really help.
This past February, Snapchatters celebrated the month of love, watched major sporting events, and commemorated the best of music and film.
and Yeet!
Even if you don't use Snapchat, this look at what was trending on the app in February is fascinating. For example, the post mentions that in the US Yeet! was trending, apparently an expression of excitement: also Slime, as a term of endearment for close friends. As they used to say in the olden days, I kid you not.

Gary Vaynerchuk (a.k.a GaryVee) says LinkedIn is a "huge priority" for him in 2019.
My friend and co-author of the best seller LinkedIn for Recruiting, Bill Vick, says his LinkedIn postings "consistently outperform" those on Facebook and Twitter.
Is something happening here? I believe so.
So I'm focusing some attention on it as a key part of my social media strategy.
If you feel your LinkedIn presence could do with a reboot, this short, basic course could be for you. A 15 miinute video each of 5 days, with a commitment by you to spend 15 minutes each of those days on implementation, is all that's involved.
And there is no financial commitment - just your commitment to yourself to spend that time on rebooting your LinkedIn presence.
I don't have a definite start date yet, but it will be soon. To participate, just apply to join my Facebook group (that's right, a Facebook group) at this link: the group site is bare bones at present, but we're working on prettying it up - and yes, the group is indeed called Fun With Profit, 'cause
that's what we're about.
