That combined my love of working on my art with an income that supported a very agreeable lifestyle, allowing me to buy a house, travel, entertain friends, and live well and happily.
As well as complete a Masters degree.
Sadly, that life started to become a memory, not my daily reality. The market for my kind of work changed and I got tired of spending time and effort chasing money owed to me by outlets where my work was sold.
In fact, I got so tired of it that I closed that business and for a while took a well-earned break.
Since then I have invested money and time into several businesses, with varying success or none.
Maybe you resonate with that
In the process, I realised that, whatever I did in the line of business, I needed to still be able to do my art, my spiritual work and to do that freely, spontaneously (some of my best inspirations come in the early hours of the morning, before the rest of the world is up!).
And to do that without having to rely for my income on the work I produced in that state of creative flow.
Of course, I’m still happy to be paid, and paid well, for my art, my Heart Whisper Cards: The entrepreneurs essential tool kit, my readings and mentoring
I am getting set to pump up my activity in that regard, using for marketing, sales and fulfilment the technology that was just not available in those days of Suzie Cheel’s Handpainted Originals.
At the same time, I don’t want the potential weight and worry of that line of business to be my only or main source of income.
Six months ago I had not found a solution to that challenge.
Then, as Des likes to say, the money angels arrived.
I now have a project which allows me plenty of time and the freedom to work on my art, etc and still make money, literally while I sleep.
Two days ago I made just over $1,000 US, while I was sleeping
A bonus for me, as I don’t much like always working on my own, is that I’m part of a collaborative team of friendly, supportive colleagues, with innovative, amazingly supportive leaders whose values I relate to and respect.
I can now see a clear path to Financial Freedom for myself,
Des and the team that has joined me.
We are having fun and we are all making money.
